Sainsbury's offering discount on home insurance cover

Consumers looking to take out a home insurance policy can benefit from a "massive discount" with Sainsbury's Bank, announced today (Tuesday, March 25th).
The offer, in which customers can get 12 months home insurance cover for the price of nine, is available to those taking out both buildings and contents cover together between March 25th and May 26th 2008.
Consumers purchasing Sainsbury's home insurance cover online will receive a further ten per cent discount.
Neil Laird, home insurance manager for Sainsbury's, commented: "Home insurance policies vary dramatically so it's essential people compare policies not only on price but also on the level of cover they provide.
"Quality cover such as unlimited buildings insurance doesn't have to be expensive and although premiums have been rising, by shopping around and taking advantage of discounts such as ours, there are significant savings to be made."
